Oliver is a Glaswegian, born and bred in the south side of the city. He graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School (GUVS) in 2004 before moving down to London where he lived until early 2010.
Whilst in London Oliver worked for a number of high profile Veterinary Practices. He gained accalades and became the youngest vet ever to be asked to run a Practice by his then employer.
During his time in London, Oliver could count amongst his patients the pets of a Spice girl, a well known British film star, a famous DJ, several footballers and a model. "I really enjoyed my time in North West London but I must admit I never forgot my Glasgow roots."
Oliver and his wife have a new baby girl, a gorgeous re-homed Border terrier called "Stitch", a black and white cat called "Wee Boab" and a new "second-hand" 6 year old Pug called "Foo". "Ive always loved animals. In my home we have always been surrounded by pets and thats just the way I like it!"
Olivers first word was "Down!" mimicking the word used to control one of the familys most wayward beagles, Holly. Oliver has particular interests in preventative Veterinary Healthcare, Cat and Dog Nutrition and Reptile husbandry and health care.
Oliver was nominated for the Petplan 2011 "Vet of the Year Award"
